Did Jesus really walk on Earth? And what the historians and scientist say about it?
Historical writings: There are other historical writers that write about Jesus.
Cornelius Tacitus (A.D 55-120) was a Roman historian . He wrote about about Christ being sentenced to death by Pontius Pilate.
Flavius Josephus (A.D. 38-100) was a Jewish historian that wrote about Jesus in his book Jewish Antiquities. He wrote that Jesus was beleived to be the messiah by his followers. And that he taught many people and did feats. And that he was crucified by Pilate.
Other ancient writers that include information about Jesus Suetonius, Thallus, Pliny the younger and Lucian. The Jewish Talmud also mentions Jesus.
So most historians and scientists will infact agree that there was a person walking the earth that was Jesus. What the so called scientists and people debating this issue will not agree on is the significance of that person. Whether he was Gods son or not.
